About Me

" Humility is the mother of giants. One sees great things from the valley; only small things from the peaks."

— Gilbert Chesterton

The Who:

Rachel Ross is a filmmaker who specializes in vulnerable, impactful storytelling. Empathy is at the core of her filmmaking, allowing her to showcase behind-the-scenes of unseen environments and the lives of those who help our planet. With a degree in geology and years of field research, Rachel can easily connect different perspectives and maintain the bigger-picture throughout her work. She has been entrusted with jobs that have taken her to the mountains, desert canyons, and beyond to document subjects relating to women's adventure sports, conservation biology, and everything in-between.
